Main problem is unable to control the screen brightness.  It looks like there are some ways to do it now<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looks like icc-brightness should help.  Install instructions are from <a href=\"https:\/\/appaper.com\/oled-laptop-screen-brightness-control-linux\/\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo apt install -y liblcms2-dev\ngit clone https:\/\/github.com\/udifuchs\/icc-brightness.git\ncd icc-brightness\nmake<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>You can run the utility with<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">.\/icc-brightness<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Installing it will set it up to automatically run on log in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo make install<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Log out and back in and it should work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/appaper.com\/oled-laptop-screen-brightness-control-linux\/\">https:\/\/appaper.com\/oled-laptop-screen-brightness-control-linux\/<\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/linux\/comments\/cmf0vi\/the_state_of_oled_brightness_on_linux\/\">https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/linux\/comments\/cmf0vi\/the_state_of_oled_brightness_on_linux\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OLED screens have had issues on Linux.
